The British Youth Council is running a consultation for children and young people to have their say on the Big Society and the National Citizenship Service. The deadline to contribute to the survey is Sunday, 17 October, go to www.surveymonkey.com/s/bycbiglisten to take part.

The results of this survey will be sent to the Prime Minister and presented to the Deputy Prime Minister at BYC’s Youth Summit in November 2010.

Paul Oginsky, Government advisor on youth policy, has given BYC an exclusive interview. He says that the ‘Big Society presents young people with an opportunity to define what society means for them’.
